1. Introduction

NASound is a music player that connects to Synology NAS servers, WebDAV servers and the device's local library. This policy describes how the app handles your information.

2. Data we collect

NASound does not collect personal data. The app does not use analytics services, advertising or third-party tracking.

3. Data stored on your device

The app stores the following data locally on your device:

This data stays on your device and is not sent to any external server.

4. Network communications

NASound only communicates with the servers you configure (your Synology NAS or WebDAV server). No connections are made to third-party servers.

5. iCloud

If you enable the backup feature, the app may store backups in your personal iCloud Drive. These backups contain account settings and library metadata. No audio files are uploaded to iCloud.

6. Device permissions

The app does not access the microphone, camera, location, contacts or calendar.

7. Tracking and advertising

NASound contains no advertising, does not use tracking identifiers and does not participate in ad networks. App Tracking Transparency is not implemented because there is no tracking of any kind.

8. Security

Your server credentials are stored in Apple's Keychain with device-level protection. Connections to your servers are made preferably via HTTPS.

9. Children's data

NASound does not collect data from any user, including minors.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this policy, we will update the last updated date. Any significant changes will be communicated through an app update.
